Alas my 4 years as a tenant with Carriage House Realty has come to an end. I would like to take a few minutes to give credit where credit is due. From move in to move out I had zero issues. The office staff was always more than helpful, the maintenance guys are top notch. All my issues were dealt with in a timely manner and everyone was always so friendly. They went above and beyond for me at times. If you’re looking for a great company to rent from that is big but still has that small town family feel, then Carriage House is the place for you. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you guys for making me feel like part of the Carriage House family.

I don’t have much experience with the office staff directly (but when I’ve called they’ve been helpful, overall) so this review is mainly for the resident portal and maintenance staff. I’ve lived here 3 years and my maintenance requests are consistently taken care of in a timely manner and I’ve never had a poor experience with them. Does my rent increase every year? Yes. That sucks, but hey, thats a different systemic issue. Overall, a pretty good property management company who communicates well through email.

I rented at Whitehall Landing for about 4 years and my experience with them was overall extremely positive. The maintenance was very responsive and personable and actually did the necessary repairs. During my time there, I had to submit quite a few maintenance requests. My refrigerator had to be replaced twice, the dryer also had to be replaced, the entire hvac system inside and out had to be replaced over one Christmas break during a severe freeze. All these repairs were done promptly and professionally with quality work. Very friendly people. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past with other landlords not actually fixing stuff or taking weeks to months to repair. Not Carriage House. The maintenance there was definitely A+. When I had to move out of my lease early, the office staff were very accommodating and fair about it. Everyone responded to my emails, calls, and maintenance requests in what I felt like was a reasonable amount of time throughout the duration of my time there. I generally experienced polite and courteous customer service. The townhome community itself was very nice and felt safe. I never had anyone steal a package or anything. Although my unit had older appliances and stuff it was very well-maintained. Very reasonable rent for the quality. I had no problems with bugs other than the occasional spider or beetle from outside. At one point some squirrels got inside the attic of my unit and began nesting and Riner was very nice about it and got a wildlife specialist to get them out of the unit. It was very quick. I would definitely recommend renting with Carriage House to a friend or anyone at all.

I just wanted to share my super positive experience with carriage house realty. My 2.5 years I was with them, I received fast response times to maintenance requests, and had great communication with the front desk and maintenance crew. I am very happy to report that I just received the email that I will be receiving my full security deposit back. To those wanting more information on how you can do the same, just make sure to read the requirements on your lease agreement. Everything is on there. A particular shout out to Mr. Riner for just being a great individual who has great communication skills and was very helpful in answering my questions and helping alleviate my anxiety in a lot of situations. My family and I rented through them for the past 2 years at Whitehall Landing and everything was great. The few maintenance requests we ever posted were handled either day of or the following day. We never had any type of a pest problem during our stay. The deposit was handled fairly and returned very easily within a month of vacating. I have recommended friends to Whitehall Landing as well for the price is great for the spacious accommodations in a rapidly increasing market. Everyone that I spoke with at their office was always extremely kind, and in my experience, easy to get in contact with. My family and I greatly appreciated our time with them as they are exceedingly better than all else I have had to deal with in the 10 years I have been renting in Athens.

I have been super happy regarding carriage house realty. My experience renting one of their properties, has been excellent. Some of the best things about renting through them are: The very quick response to my maintenance requests. And, not just the quick response, but the technicians are super friendly as well. Also, their customer service. I do find that emails or messages through the app/online portal are the quickest ways to get a response. An especially large shout out to Mr. Riner, who has been super helpful each time I've had to renew my lease. Finally, extremely fair rent increases. I am very happy where I'm at. Tyvm.

Great experience with Carriage House! They are all a great group of people that are helpful, kind and knowledgeable, no surprise they have been in the business for over 45 years! So thankful for their expertise when renting in Athens!

I’ve lived with Carriage House for two years now. They have been extremely friendly, easy to work with, quick to fix issues, and very, very personal. I’ve loved working with anyone in the office, they were extremely helpful in getting me out of a lease that I had already signed to move into a new, bigger place because a new roommate wanted to move in last minute. I knew I didn’t want to leave Carriage, they’ve treated me extremely well and will remember you and treat you like a close friend. Rent is extremely reasonable, maintenance is done regularly and promptly, the grounds are kept well, and employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve had nothing but positive experience through them and just signed my lease for my 3rd year with them!

The maintenance team came within two hours of putting in a request and calling about a leak. They fixed it pretty quickly also. The lady on the phone (I think her name was Kirsten?) was very kind and kept me updated about the maintenance situation. Every time I’ve come to the office, the lady at the front desk has also been very helpful. My one complaint is that it can be difficult to get a hold of anyone on the phone sometimes and a roommate has told me they don’t return her calls sometimes when she leaves a message.

CHR worked with us while we renovated our new house. Any rental house problems were handled quickly and professionally. They have a great team. We enjoyed our experience with them.

I have been renting from Carriage House for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. I live in "The Barringtons" and the apartment is a great location and lots of space for the price. I have never had any issues with bugs or any other pests and Carriage House has always been prompt about fixing or replacing any appliances that I was having issues with. The people who work in the office are always as helpful and friendly as possible. I would definitely rent from them again!

I would definitely recommend Carriage House Realty. I lived there the past year in Pineview and had a great experience. My dryer was broken last spring and they were super quick and easy about fixing it. Thank you!!!

Our overall experience the last three years has been very good with Carriage House Realty. My daughter and her roommates always experienced quick responses to repair needs and appreciated notices sent by the realty company to remind them to bring items in during storms or to run the taps in case of freezing. The rent was reasonable and the girls made great memories in the Pineview Community. We did have a question when the girls were moving out regarding their deposit, but Riner Gay, an associate broker at the company, was able to help us with our concerns. We have been so pleased with Carriage that I encouraged a friend to have her son rent from them as well!
